Saya tertarik untuk melihat Alkitab bahasa Indonesia yang digabungkan dengan teknologi wiki yang bebas disunting siapa saja. Idenya adalah bukan bahwa terjemahan bahasa Indonesia tersebut bisa disunting siapa saja, (kemungkinan besar halaman yang memuat ayat-ayat Alkitab akan dikunci sehingga hanya pengguna terdaftar yang bisa melakukan perubahan, misalnya ada tipo) dan hal-hal yang dapat dicapai menggunakan teknologi ini serta dengan bantuan komunitas penyunting. Halangan yang terbesar tentu saja jika jumlah partisipannya tidak besar, maka hanya segelintir orang yang dapat meluangkan waktunya untuk menyunting, dan progresnya akan berjalan dengan lambat. (perlu didoakan nih biar banyak orang yang bergabung :D)
Baru-baru ini saya melihat beberapa orang telah memulai kegiatan serupa (menggabungkan wiki dan Alkitab) namun untuk Alkitab berbahasa Inggris, itu pun hanya terjemahan yang telah habis masa hak ciptanya, bukan terjemahan-terjemahan Alkitab bahasa Inggris populer seperti NIV atau "The Message". Rencana saya saat ini adalah membuat artikel untuk setiap perikop menurut Alkitab Terjemahan Baru Lembaga Alkitab Indonesia, dan bukannya per pasal, atau per ayat (seperti wiki-wiki alkitab yang saya cantumkan di daftar). Semua ayat di suatu kitab akan dijadikan satu artikel untuk mempermudah perlindungan, dan untuk artikel-artikel perikop akan menggunakan templat.
